Following the change of name Palmerston kicked off in the 1927-28 season

Early wins in the one day comp carried the Premier 1 team into the semi finals

In recent times Palmerston has maintained a very strong link with the indoor cricket community

After a hard fought close final Palmerston was once again crowned as the Premier 1 two day champions
